Characters - Images

This article explains how to add, edit, and delete images from Characters in Plottr (on Desktop and Web).

Getting Started 

• Characters currently support one primary image, which is visible in the Character sidebar and as an enlarged thumbnail on the character profile.
• You can add more images to Characters in their notes section (and by using paragraph Custom Attributes)

Adding a Primary Character Image

To add a primary Character image:

1. Click on the Character to open the editing pane
2. Click the "Choose an image" button from the editing pane to open the Image Gallery
3. From the Image Gallery, click "Upload Files" to add a new image OR click on an existing image to select it
4. Click "Choose" to attach the image
5. Click the "Save" button

Changing the Primary Character Image

To change the primary Character image:

1. Click on the Character to open the editing pane
2. Click the "Choose an image" button from the editing pane to open the Image Gallery
3. From the Image Gallery, click "Upload a new image" to add a new image OR click on an existing image to select it
4. Click "Choose" to attach the image
5. Click the "Save" button

Removing the Primary Character Image

To remove the primary Character image:

1. Click on the Character to open the editing pane
2. Click the "Remove" button from the editing pane 
3. Click the "Save" button

Adding Secondary Character Images

To attach additional images to the notes section of your Character:

1. Click on the Character to open the editing pane
2. Under Notes, click the image icon to open the Image Gallery
3. From the Image Gallery, click "Upload Files" to add a new image OR click on an existing image to select it
4. Click "Choose" to attach the image to the Notes section
5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 to add more images
6. Click the "Save" button
