How to Use Tags in Your Plottr Project

This article explains how to use tags in your Plottr project on Windows and Mac.

Using Tags with Scene Cards

To link a Tag with a Scene Card on the Timeline:

  1. Visit the Timeline section of Plottr
  2. Click the Scene Card you wish to edit
  3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
  4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Scene Card
  5. Click “Close” to update your changes
  1. Visit the Outline section of Plottr
  2. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
  3. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Scene Card

Using Tags with Notes

To link a tag with a Note:

  1. Visit the Notes section of Plottr
  2. Click on the Note you wish to edit
  3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
  4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Note

Using Tags with Characters

To link a Tag with a Character:

  1. Visit the Characters section of Plottr
  2. Click on the Character you wish to edit
  3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
  4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Character

Using Tags with Places

To link a Tag with a Place:

  1. Visit the Places section of Plottr
  2. Click on the character you wish to edit
  3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
  4. Select the Tag you wish to link with the Place
