How to Add, Edit, and Remove Tag Colors

This article explains how to use colors with tags on Plottr for Windows and Mac.

Adding a Color to a Tag

To add color to a new Tag:

  1. Click “New” or the “+” icon to add a new Tag
  2. Click the “Color” icon while creating the Tag
  3. Select a color from the color library
  4. Click “Save” or tap Enter/Return on your keyboard to save the Tag with its color

To add color to an existing Tag:

  1. Click on the existing Tag
  2. Click the “Color” icon
  3. Select a color from the color library

Editing the Color of a Tag

To edit the color of an existing tag:

  1. Hover over an existing tag
  2. Click the “Color” button
  3. Select a new color from the color library

Removing the Color of a Tag

To remove the color from a tag:

  1. Hover over an existing tag
  2. Click the yellow “Remove” button

Once you click the color picker icon to add or update a tag’s color, you will see a new interface with a color library and an input box on the top right of the screen.

There are three ways to select a color:

  1. Click on the color you want to use from the library
  2. Enter a specific color hex code in the input field and click the “Choose” button
  3. Enter a specific color name in the input field and click the “Choose” button
