Tags - Using Tags in Your Project

Tags can be attached to Scene Cards, Notes, Characters, and Places to help your organize the elements of your project. This article explains how to use Tags in Plottr (on Desktop and Web).

Using Tags with Scene Cards

You can attach tags to Scene Cards in both the Timeline and Outline sections of Plottr.

To link a Tag with a Scene Card on the Timeline:

1. Visit the Timeline section of Plottr
2. Click the Scene Card you wish to edit
3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Scene Card

To link a Tag with a Scene Card on the Outline:

1. Visit the Outline section of Plottr
2. Click on the Scene Card you wish to edit
3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Scene Card

Using Tags with Notes

1. Visit the Notes section of Plottr
2. Click on the Note you wish to edit
3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Note

Using Tags with Characters

1. Visit the Characters section of Plottr
2. Click on the Character you wish to edit
3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Character

Using Tags with Places

1. Visit the Places section of Plottr
2. Click on the Place you wish to edit
3. Hover over the word “Tags” and click the plus (+) button that appears
4. Select the Tag you wish to associate with the Place
