Linux
Plottr is not officially supported on Linux at this time, but can be used on Linux devices using Plottr Pro's web app. A native beta version may be available for amd64 (64-bit) systems. Other architectures, including 32-bit i386 and ARM, are not supported.
Some users have reported success running the Windows version of Plottr on Wine. Because versions of Wine vary by distribution and installation, an instruction document is not available.
Some features, such as automatic updates, may not work under Wine and are known to not work natively.

Exporting Files
Microsoft Word
Plottr exports Word files with a .docx extension which can be opened with the following:
- Word for Windows: Word 2007 or later is required
- Word for Mac: Word 2008 or later is required
- Other software: Many free third-party applications, including Google Docs, LibreOffice, and OpenOffice, can open Plottr exports
- Older versions of Word: The exported file may be converted from docx to other formats, such as RTF and DOC, through an intermediate tool, such as Google Docs, LibreOffice, OpenOffice, or Pages
Scrivener
Plottr exports to any version of Scrivener for both Windows and Mac.
Users of Scrivener version 3 or later for both Mac and Windows will see a one-time dialog box the first time they open an exported Scrivener project.
This dialog says that Scrivener is converting from the 1.x format – this is expected and Scrivener will operate normally afterwards. No data in your Plottr export will be lost.
