How Do I Sync Plottr Files Across Devices?

Automatic syncing across devices is available to those with a Plottr Pro subscription.
If you don't have Plottr Pro, you can sync your Plottr files between devices by adding them to a cloud-sharing service (e.g. iCloud, OneDrive).

Please see these instructions for adding your files to our recommended cloud-based services:

If you experience an auto-saving pop up when editing a file directly from a cloud-based storage folder, the current workaround is to save your Plottr file locally on your desktop and copy it into your cloud-based storage folder once you have finished working.

To sync your files across Desktop computers:

  1. Add your Plottr file to your cloud-sharing service on a desktop computer
  2. Download and sign into your cloud storage service on a second desktop computer
  3. Install Plottr on your second desktop computer
  4. Open your Plottr file on your second desktop computer
This method requires a 3 device Plottr license.
